Tonight we're gonna party like it's...well, 2011, actually...

At Sarah's work Christmas do.  Am a bit overwhelmed by the noise, but all present seem to have thrown themselves into the sci-fi/future theme with great enthusiasm.  So far, have spotted at least three stormtroopers (one cost £1500, apparently), two Buzz Lightyears, one each of Darths Maul & Vader, a Marty McFly, Spock and assorted other Federation members, a full complement of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a Beachcomber, a Tracy Brother, two Master Chiefs from Halo (one of them Sarah), and...that's barely scratched the surface.  I'm left muttering, "the people...the things..."

Oh, and the venue is right opposite Mornington Crescent station.  It may be difficult to restrain myself when we catch the tube home...  :-)

Typofail, it was a Bumblebee. Whoops. I don't think Sarah would wear her Beachcomber anywhere other than a convention so she can get changed at the con hotel...
