Where exactly did Dimitri come from? I know he was on the ship in the first episode, but I'm a bit puzzled about how he came to be on the Grid.

He was already an agent - I need to go back and rewatch as I can't remember if they said he was 6 or 5 but they did say he'd been put in place by the security services after the other captain 'Fell ill'
