Pleasant surprise...

I was driving home on Tuesday listening to the Scissor Sisters and wondering what they're up to nowadays and musing idly that it'd be just my rotten luck if they've gone and split up. Then I noticed today that actually they're interviewed in this week's Radio Times and a concert of theirs is being transmitted on Radio 2 on Thursday. Must Sky+ it.

Incidentally, in next week's Radio Times, there'll be a David Tennant interview. Guessing that's for Single Father.

Oh, and the new series of The Sarah Jane Adventures starts soon, doesn't it?

Scissor Sisters were live on Ken Bruce's show on Thursday on Radio 2, so you can still catch it on iPlayer. I enjoyed it, I think it is worth it

Er, Scissor Sisters released a new album about two months ago and they're not only touring soon, they're being supported by Hurts - Britain's very best new pop duo.

Yeah, I'm a bit out of touch but now I think about it I did hear about the album release.

I might try to see them on the tour, it could be a good fun evening out. I just love the fact that their music is so unashamedly disco.
