Honestly? I live in Hemel Hempstead. I wouldn't say it qualifies as a city, and I wouldn't say it has anywhere particularly beautiful. If Sarah and I want a functional trip to the shops, we go to Hemel Hempstead town centre. If we want a pleasant trip to the shops, St. Albans is our first port of call. That's got the cathedral, which is quite beautiful. So that, probably, is the nearest Hemel comes to a "beautfiul destination".
