Thing I've noticed

Geeky people (of whom I am definitely one) seem to have a fondness for Nando's. Non-geeky people (my sister and mother, for instance, as we've discovered when trying to plan something for my birthday) don't.

Is that other people's experience or not? I just throw this out there for discussion. And to get me salivating. And bemoaning the fact that Nando's don't do a delivery service...

Actually, that's not true. I knew a Maths Ph.D student from New Mexico who liked it a lot. Does that count?

Mmm, Nando's. I think I agree, based on limited experience, but also you need to include non-geeky non-white people, for whom Nando's is huge. Me, husband, brother-in-law love it, mum/sister/sister-in-law hate it.

I've only tried it once (the day after Z's wedding) and I wasn't that enthused; I probably need to try more sauces or something but it felt like I'd had much better food for the money.

Well I had to Google Nando's - I've heard it mentioned but never come across an actual one before - and it seems to serve nothing but chicken, so I doubt if nerdy veg*ans go there much.
