Nostalgia...

Amongst the singles that I've been importing into my computer recently was this slice of Saturday morning kids' TV fun. I suspect that they're not really playing their instruments, but I care not. And having the lyrics there helps me make sense of one of the lines which I've been Mondegreening for the past 18 years...

Am I alone...

...in thinking that most of the time, iTunes' (or rather Gracenote's CD Database, IIRC) genre classifications can sometimes be just plain bizarre? I mean, I'm not sure exactly how I'd classify Beverley Craven (these days I tend to stick to "Easy Listening", although ISTR when I first heard her stuff I told people she was "Jazz", a classification I'm sure would have any self-respecting jazz purist hurling rocks at me and calling me a heretic...but anyway I digress...), but I don't really think she counts as "Rock"..?

Oh well, c'est la vie.
