Is it just me, or is Chris Addison more'n a little bit like Steve Punt? I would say "like a young Steve Punt", but as Steve Punt seems to have acquired Dorian Gray's gift for eternal youth ('cos seriously, he doesn't seem to have changed particularly in the last couple of decades...), the adjective might be rather spurious.

Blast from the past

I just had a call from one of my old primary school teachers! In the course of my work, I send forms out for our national database to be updated, and one of the ones I recently sent was to an charity working with autistic people in Suffolk. The former teacher of mine noticed my name on the letter, wondered if it was me (it's not a particularly common name) and gave me a call. That was a pleasant journey down memory lane!

She reminded me of a school trip we'd taken to Kentwell Hall, which I remember really liking (although apparently as a child I was scared by the realism of the enactments!). I'd like to go there again with Sarah some time.
