Just had a 'phone call from my mum - my stepdad apparently showed up at the doctor's earlier today in a state of total confusion - didn't know who he was, didn't know who my mum and sister were... Mum wondered if it might be a stroke. Sarah suggested the same when I mentioned it to her. I don't know what to think. He's going in for a brain scan later, which to me sounds ominous. Basically, prayers or general good vibes would be greatly appreciated right now.

It's obviously quite the time for officially sanctioned sequels. I saw a copy of this one at the weekend, and...it's so perfect. It reads like Milne, and if I hadn't been told the illustrations weren't by EH Shepherd, I'd think they were his work. As soon as I can afford it, I'm getting m'self a copy.
