Interesting bits of Doctor Who news
Jun. 8th, 2011 12:36 pmSo, a Christmas special for 2011 and a series for 2012 have been confirmed by the BBC (tweeted by both DWM and Moffat). ( Casting spoilers. )
Also, Terry Pratchett has been tweeting elusively about some sort of meeting/discussion with Mr Moffat. What this all means is anyone's guess. It's unlikely that he'll be writing a Doctor Who episode (to the best of my knowledge he has no screenwriting experience; not that that would totally rule out the possibility, but it makes it unlikely). Maybe a Doctor Who novel, following on from Michael Moorcock's one and the one Stephen Baxter's doing?
And Roy Skelton, voice of the Daleks (and Zippy in Rainbow) has died. :o(
