I'm very much against it. I'm very much against punishment as part of the justice system anyway. If someone poses a serious danger to society, then there's a case for incarcerating them, but I also believe that should be ideally with a view to their eventual rehabilitation back into society. Sure, that's not always going to be possible, but I think it's a good goal to strive for - better that either "string 'em up" or "lock 'em up and throw away the key."
