I agree that it does look incredibly pretty...but...there's just something about it that bugs me. I like that they're sticking with the designs of the original books (which I loved growing up, btw. The video game was SO hard!), but the motion-capture just makes it look a little...odd. Like they're somewhere between realistic looking people and cartoon characters. They're either making real people look cartoony or making cartoon characters look realistic. So it kind of meshes them together and just looks a bit bizarre. So this will either work really well in the film's favour or just make it look weird.

Either way I'm still going to see it! :)
