Just watched the first five minutes of the season 3 opener (damn! Sooo impatient...). And I don't think it's terribly spoilery to say "bloomin' heck, I wasn't expecting that."

Looking forward to getting back from work so I can watch the rest of it.

(And it's a double bill! Two episodes to look forward to!)

[livejournal.com profile] seiyaharris just posted this over at [livejournal.com profile] slack_n_slash, and it looked too good not to share. Sarah, y'interested?

My ankle is still giving me rather a bit of pain. Specifically the right hand side, the main joint. Although common sense is saying "if you'd broken something you'd know," I'm really starting to wonder if maybe I have broken something. I mean, most of the bruising has gone down, but there's still this one particular area of pain.

So...what do I do? Go to A&E, ask for an X-ray, find out the worst - or the best? End up on sticks for a while, maybe?

Which wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have Connotations coming up in just over a week with a mile walk from the hotel I'm staying in to the convention hotel.

Meh.

The LHC has now been turned off.

"A magnet failure"? How the heck does a magnet "fail"? Sheesh, I'm sure these guys just make it up as they go along... *g*

Still, at least Frankie Boyle will be happy.

So, I've just been watching the first couple of episodes of Chuck, and enjoying it greatly - good fun, quirky, geeky, Adam Baldwin is hysterically funny and Yvonne Strahovski is very very pretty.

And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I realised that Chuck has a Tron poster on his bedroom wall.

Yay! The geek shall inherit the earth. Indeed, it's possible that we already have.
