It gets better.
1 out of every 10 people are born gay. That means 1 of every 10 people are instantly put down, given bad labels, left alone, put in a minority and so much more, all for something they didn't ask for.
Gay teens are turning to suicide as a way of escaping. If you want to tell them that life will get better, & you respect them for who they are, copy & paste this. Most of you won't, but let's see those of you who will.

It’s been decided. On October 20th, we will wear purple in honor of LGBTQ teens who commit suicide due to homophobic abuse in their homes at at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit. Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality. Please wear purple on October 20th.
