So, that thing where Sarah bought me flowers the other night?

She expressly forbade me from buying her flowers. So, naturally, I did my husbandly duty and ignored her.

No, only joking. I know that, whilst I'm an old fashioned romantic, Sarah, well...isn't. But she does like gifts and presents.

So while I was shopping in Tesco last night, I saw this and thought of her. :-)

She was as happy to receive that as I was to receive the flowers. :-)

This might have to be a regular thing. Anyway, Three Counties Radio's JVS played The Carpenters Top of the World on his show this morning. He "admitted" to knowing all the words as if it's something to be ashamed of! Which of course, as any fule kno, it isn't - this is a wonderful, upbeat, lovely song, and had me smiling away as I drove the final few minutes of the journey into work. There should be more cheerful songs like this in the world. :-)

I think...

...it's possible that I'm a bit OCD about certain things.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing, or a bad thing, or just a "this is how I am" thing.

Why yes, there are some bits of Doctor Who that I know off by heart and can recite along with the actors. Or sometimes a beat ahead of them.

Please do not judge me for this. :-)

(Seriously, though...you sing along to a song, people think of nothing of it. You recite lines of dialogue along to a film or TV programme, people think you're strange. Why is that?)
