What *were* they thinking?

I've not seen A View to a Kill for a while (love the theme tune, though), but I'm just watching the Top Gear special on Bond cars, and...I don't think I've ever seen a sequence (the clips from the car chase in Paris, to be specific) where it's so obvious that the stunt guy isn't the guy he's stunting for*. I mean, in some shots you can pretty much see his non-Roger Moore face and hair.





*Well, okay, yeah, Terry Walsh as the third Doctor in The Monster of Peladon aside...

Well, looky what we have here...

Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square is doing a marathon back-to-back of all three Back to the Future films - Saturday December 8th, from 2:00pm. I could definitely be interested.

Also, a Lord of the Rings marathon on Sunday December 30th. The normal ones, not the extended editions (probably a good thing, some of us will have homes to get to and trains to catch).

If I go, anyone want to join me? Misha? Tim?
