In our new house...we have a Power Shower!!!

Okay, a bit of background, 'cos otherwise that sounds like a really lame thing to be excited about - at Sarah's old place in Barking, which was about ½ a mile from the pumping station, the shower could probably fuel a rocket to the moon, it was that strong. But after ten years at Chelmsford the shower was reduced from "okay" to "trickle" (and cleaning the shower head didn't help...mind you, maybe we could have bought a replacement?); in Bishop's Stortford, again, the shower head was naff and we had to unscrew it to get any kind of force from the shower (and as it was rented accommodation I don't think we'd have got away with buying a replacement); while at Chorleywood, it starts out good for about 30 seconds, and then peters out to a trickle.

Sarah and I have agreed that we'll have a moratorium on decorating for a year after we've moved in (although there are a couple of rooms that particularly good do with a lick of paint and a new carpet), but if we didn't have either a very good shower or a power shower, we'd get one as a matter of priority. So the fact that there's already a power shower fitted fills me with all kinds of glee.

And year, granted, even with the background that probably still sounds a bit lame.
