You ever have one of those situations where you're absolutely convinced as convinced can be that you did something, but when it comes to it, you can't find any trace of you ever actually having done it?

My brain's slightly weirded out by this one.

OTOH, if I hadn't done what I thought I'd done, there'd normally be a brouhaha, and there hasn't been, so...least said, soonest mended, and all of that.

Maybe the thing you did got eaten by a crack in the Universe but because it has now never existed, things upon which is used to depend have been adjusted to compensate?
