Quantum of Solace trailer...

With Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince not coming out until the summer, it's nice to have a movie to be excited about for later this year.

And it does look really rather good...

btw, I'll throw this out there for anyone as is interested in a crossover plot bunny, 'cos I've not done anything with it yet. Back at the start of August, in conversation with Sarah, Becky, and Becky's friend whose name I've forgotten who was at AutoAssembly with her, I was mentioning my uncertainty about how to pronounce "solace", and we decided that for ease of reference I should maybe call the new film Quantum Bond.

And my brain immediately went into crossover plot bunny overdrive and I thought...okay...what if...Sam Beckett as agent 007..?

I was convinced that something along those lines must already exist but if it does it's not at Fanfiction.net and I can't find it online, so...if anyone feels inspired to write it, please do!

I've managed to get a room for Connotations.

It's actually in a hotel in Whitley Bay - about a mile away from Tynemouth, where the convention itself is taking place - but what the heck, that's better than nothing (considering I was facing the rather dreadful possibility of not getting somewhere to stay at all, I regard it as nothing less than a miracle).

So. Need to send a deposit along, and really be a bit careful with my spending over the next few weeks.

But that's made me a bit of a happy bunny.
